Pricillia Jane Perry was diagnosed with Leukemia in April 2010. After several weeks in the hospital she was released and put on a new medicine called Gleevac. Everything was looking better until her body started rejecting the medicine and excruciatng pain set in her bones. The unbearable pain would bring her to tears. This forced her back into the hospital in September. After many tests and bone marrow biopsies, she was informed that the Leukemia had progressed severely and she needed to undergo some of the harshest chemotherapy available. Her chances of survival were not good. With her positive attitude, courage and determination along with superior health care and thousands of prayers from family and friends, she put her faith in the Lord to the test. She was up to the challenge and faced it head on. After a month and a half in the hospital she was finally in remission and released to go home for the holidays. Her best chance for long term survival is a Bone Marrow Transplant. She is currently taking a fairly new medication (Sprycell) and will continue from now on even after a transplant. Her battle is far from over. Every day presents itself with different challenges.The benefit event and silent auction is to help offset the cost of hospital bills, medicine and home health care associated with her treatment and long term care. This is also a time to thank family and friends again for all their prayers, love and support and to educate others of the importance in

finding a cure for Leukemia.

I would just like to say Thanks to EVERYONE who attended the Pricillia Perry Leukemia Benefit Event & Silent Auction on Sunday April 10, 2011. It was a HUGE success. Thanks to you all. The entertainment was FANTASTIC! The Silent Auction & Raffles where FUN & EXCITING!. It is truly amazing how everyone can come together for a cause like this and Make A Difference!. Mom was overwhelmed with happiness to see so many friends and family come together and show her so much love and support. I would also like to Thank each and everyone of our sponsors and silent auction contributors who without hesitation they extended a helping hand by donating an array of silent auction items. I've always believed in doing business with those that do business with me and give back to those who have given. Thanks to all the event staff volunteers who worked so hard before, during and after the event. To all those who made donations, your generosity is very much appreciated. And a final Thanks to our event coordinator and benefit committee for making all the pieces fit together to create a wonderful event.
